Charles Alaimo’s classic office transformation
As Head of Human Resources and a long-time client who has completed nearly ten projects with us, Charles wanted a sophisticated yet functional home office.
He chose Benjamin Moore’s Philipsburg Blue, a rich historic color that lends a classic charm to the room. To enhance the space, Charles worked with our team to add custom wall moulding on an accent wall, giving the room an extra layer of elegance. That subtle but impactful detail created a focal point that complements the deep, timeless hue.
Although the color is on the darker side, the abundant natural light in the room balances it beautifully, resulting in a space that feels warm, inviting and perfect for productivity.

What changed
Despite it being eleven years since the room was last painted there were no major issues — just some cracking along the ceiling, which we addressed before any color went on. The outcome is a flawless, timeless office that Charles is thrilled with, even as he continues adding finishing touches like artwork.

The palette
We chose Benjamin Moore’s Philipsburg Blue to bring a timeless, classic feel to the space. This rich, deep blue creates an office that feels both calming and refined; its subtle gray undertones work with the natural light flooding the room, so the darker shade adds warmth and sophistication instead of overpowering it.
